We had an amazing experience with Tony! This man goes out of his way to provide anything you need. We were in Alaska without a car, he even asked us if we needed him to pickup anything for us. Which we took him up on! Tony is a true gem. If he can make it happen, he will! Tony was our guide for the Ice Sculptures, Chena Hot Springs and aurora viewing. The auroras did not disappoint. Tony and his family truly make you feel at home. He even contacted us with aurora forecasts on the nights we didn’t have a tour with him. He is very knowledgeable about the aurora forecasts. I highly recommend Tony and would love to have stayed at his AirBNB! Maybe next time.

Cafego’s was booked for the day I needed transportation but they were ae to send me to someone who could help. But they followed up with a call to make sure the other company was able to help. All this took place over the phone and I ended up crossing paths with the owner and his wife on another excursion and they were just the most welcoming, friendly people you could imagine. I wish it would have worked out I could have booked them but they will definitely be my first choice when I visit again.

Tony was absolutely amazing!
We had two trips with him and he was absolutely the best! He stopped wherever we needed to go and was so accommodating for our group. We only wished we had found him sooner and we would have used him for our whole trip! Very pleasant, clean vehicles and knowledgeable about the area!

"Made my Alaska trip perfect"

We had a reservation to stay with Tony at his B&B and he to coordinate all our day tours. The airline cancelled my return flight during the week we were suppose to be there and I had to call him to get a new reservation. He had no availability the week we were coming so I had to cancel my reservation with him. He was very nice and said don’t worry about it, just enjoy the time you are here wherever you stay. His contact with me didn’t stop there. He text us after we got there to remind me of the dog sledding company he was going to set up with and told us about places to eat and things to see in Fairbanks. He knew our main reason for the trip was to see the northern lights so the first night we were there he text me to tell me the northern lights were in view and where we could go to see them near where we were staying. I had told him as well I had hoped to get pictures of the northern lights which I knew he could take for us but not staying there I had to try to get them myself. He text me each evening to let us know about the lights and even helped me with camera settings. What person would work so hard to make sure you enjoy your Alaska trip when they are profiting nothing from it? I can tell you Tony Cafego did just that. It’s obvious he is dedicated to his work and wants everyone to experience the best of Alaska. I do plan someday to go back and I will definitely be staying with him. He truly made our Alaska trip absolutely perfect. Without his help we would have missed things that we enjoyed and will alway remember. Thanks Tony you are the best.

We’ve stayed with this awesome family, 𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝙲𝚊𝚏𝚎𝚐𝚘𝚜: Tony, Lana, and their cool son James. They have a ton of sweet pets you can hang around with from dogs and cats to geese, chickens, and horses outside. They remind me of some blended homesteaders, because they garden in the summer on top of juggling their pets. No man left behind is their motto since they brought a cat from Mexico and horse from the lower 48.
They were such an awesome family to stay with. They made it feel like we were visiting extended family and not strangers we’ve only had a few conversations with over the phone. Tony is a great chef and will whip up tasteful creations from Alaskan style food to some southern style grits. Cafego’s Aurora View Farms B&B llc

I stayed a night at Tony’s Cafego’s Aurora View Farms and thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. I have been chasing the northern lights for the past few years and the 2 most important requirements for a good location are less light pollution and a clear view of the northern sky. This place has both of them. There was almost no auroral activity on the night that I stayed but I could still see the green band on the northern horizon. On a good night, the aurora will be right overhead. In spite of being an excellent aurora viewing location, it is also conveniently located very close to Fairbanks and Chena hot springs . I stayed at the cabin which was very thoughtfully decorated inside and comfortable. The main house also has rooms to stay with windows facing north. Tony and his family are extremely hospitable. From the moment I met them, I felt at home. They answered all my questions, they are incredibly knowledgable and passionate about the aurora and will go above and beyond to make you comfortable. I will definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time at this B&B! It was by far the cleanest place we have ever stayed in! The owners were fantastic host! They have expert knowledge of the area! They offer tours and have an amazing shuttle service for people visiting without a car. The bonus is the property was well taken care of and so charming!! This family is so welcoming we believe we have made life long friends!

I booked this place to celebrate my one year wedding anniversary with our in-laws. This place is amazing, they have animals, a hot tub and a great setup to give you the best chance to see the northern lights he can. He knew it was a priority for us and boy did we love it!!! He made us feel at home. 10 out of 10.

Tony and his wife Laina are the consummate hosts, one of the best I’ve encountered in more than six decades. Tony’s dedication to helping each one of his / her guests is unparalleled. He is always trying to make sure that your expectations are not only met, but exceeded. He does this by caring about each and everyone he encounters and by exemplifying and just doing it the “ all American way “, working hard .
Because of the unpredictability of the Auroras, it is a challenge for anyone to know when and where they happen, but Tony Works at knowing all the possible variables and could challenge anyone in the Fairbanks area to do it any better than he does. If one is looking for the Auroras, they have the best chance of all with Tony Cafego…. Thank you Tony and Laina for making my Alaska dreams come true on my recent stay at your B & B.

Tony and has family offer a clean, comfortable room in the upstairs of their house, along with a shared bathroom. They rent out two rooms, so you may be able to rent both rooms if the other is available. We went in early March to see the Aurora and Ice Festival, and had a wonderful time. Tony has a degree in food and hospitality, and offers one delicious meal a day to his guests, either breakfast or dinner, depending on his guest’s desires. Where Tony really shines is in providing the best local experience in Alaska. he has a van, and can be your own private tour guide to take you to see Denali, the North Pole, Chena Hot Springs, etc. He can pick you up at the airport in the van as well if he is not busy with other guiding duties. He can find providers who will take you skidooing or sleddog touring. He will tell you how he manages his little farm in winter, and give you tips about things to see and places to avoid. Tony has apps on his phone that can tell you where the aurora activity is anywhere in the world he will wake you up to see it. Our room faced the mountains, so I simply watched the aurora in my jammies. Tony & Laina & James are the Bomb!

If you are looking for a place around fairbanks or just Alaska in general look no further. Tony is the best AirBnB host my wife and I have every come across, and we’ve had a few. A completely amazing experience with home made wine, smoked salmon, friendly animals, great conversations and a photography lesson on the northern lights from a true master. If we had more time I’m not sure we would have left. Book this place and thank us later! You rock Tony!

Superb day. Expected this place to be a bit Mickey Mouse but it was not. Lots to do for all age groups. The icing on the cake was Tony, our guide for the day, who was extremely helpful and informative and made our day memorable, Thank you for memories we will cherish.

Our dog mushing tour was such an amazing night. Massive thanks to Tony for all your comedy and hospitality! You were extremely generous with your time for all members of the group and are full of knowledge about all aspects of the evening right down to extremely helpful camera tips when shooting the northern lights.

Me and my mom had an amazing trip thanks to Tony, our guide he new all about alaska, and so much about the northern lights, he also help us take grear photos, even though we didn’t have a camara, so he did it with his own and emailed me the pics! The dinner was so good and the guides on the sled ride were also really friendly and chaty. I hope I can do it again some time!

"Unforgettable day tour to Arctic Circle"

We booked the day tour a few days before our trip, and we are lucky to still get seats since this is not the most popular season. Tony was our driver and he was courteous, knowledgeable and fun! During the trip, Tony introduced lots of things about the Dalton Highway, the Alaska traditions and northern lights to keep us informed and entertained. The best part is that he had a few spots to wait for the aurora and he would stop anywhere we we want to check the animals or whatsoever. We felt really enjoyable in the trip. I would highly recommend him if you are looking for a driver/tour.

Had a city tour of the small town of Fairbanks, very grateful to have Randy as our tour guide. At the end of the day, we were more interested in what he had to say about his outdoor experiences in Alaska than any of the exhibits/museums/attractions. Very friendly and knowledgeable.
Tony was also from the company and was our driver to Chena Hot Springs. Very down-to-earth, made the time there an unforgettable and laugh-infested experience. Ask about his husky Rufus!
Without a doubt, these guys made our trip to Alaska the highlight of our US west coast trip. Their stories make the state of Alaska come alive!
